The FEAR. which permeates this album has come about as a result of Kendrick's serious consideration of what it truly means to have FAITH IN GOD with every fibre of his being. Kendrick realises that truly becoming the knight of faith his destiny demands requires him to accept the possibility of incredible sacrifice during his life here on planet Earth. These sacrifices include some of Kendrick's deepest fears, such as losing his money or having his reputation/legacy destroyed by forces such as Fox News. BLOOD. is without a doubt the central track of the album. Kendrick Lamar being shot and killed as a result of simply trying to help out a blind woman is a metaphor for the sheer extent of how far Kendrick must go if he wishes to embrace his destiny as prophet of God. The abstractness of the album is as a result of the fact that the events of BLOOD. have not yet happened. Kendrick himself has said in interviews that the events of the album 'never happened.
